Ask An Agent: Q+A with CAA's Cindy Uh

ON MONDAY, MARCH 25TH AT 3PM PST, HERETICS CLUB IS CHATTING WITH VETERAN LITERARY AGENT CINDY UH AT CREATIVE ARTISTS AGENCY.

ATTN: authors with questions about getting work published or finding representation that aligns with your artistic goals; it’s time to tune in! We’re closing out the month with an intimate conversation and Q+A with Cindy Uh, a New York City-based literary agent at Creative Artists Agency.

If you’re feeling lost in your writing journey or are curious about what it takes to find and secure an agent, this event is for you. During the Q+A Cindy will speak about her experience and expertise as an agent including topics around about getting started with an agent, what she looks for when deciding to represent an author, and what a writer can do to create an authentic, compelling perspective in their work.

Cindy Uh is a literary agent with CAA. She graduated from UCLA School of Law and was counsel at a publishing firm before pivoting a few years later, and  now represents a wide range of authors across a spectrum of genres including Mari Andrew, Brent Preston, Cecilia Munoz, and Kristin Russell. She believes in representing authors with diverse voices that challenge readers to think about the world in a different way.
